At Central Oregon Carpentry Pros we strive to keep the values of old-world craft alive. We aim to do a task well with integrity, kindness, and respect. We believe in the power of effective planning but also in the ability to adapt seamlessly to unforeseen circumstances. Teamwork and humility are pillars of our philosophy, and while we have plenty of experience we also recognize experience doesn't mean much without curiosity. We also view "problems" as opportunities for creativity and when we encounter a "weird house problem" we see a chance for something unique.

Part of old-world craftsmanship is in the recognition that efficiency is a child of systems and skill, not hustle. While we have time-proven methods to any of the tasks we do, we are also always on the hunt for more efficient tools, systems, and adaptations. This may mean tools on the job that make things run more smoothly and cleanly, and it may mean communication tools like CAD renders or LiDar scans to help the planning and execution of a project run like a well oiled machine.

About Us
Caleb Hargrove is your point person for all things related to Central Oregon Carpentry Pros.

Caleb was born and raised in Central Oregon, and after a decade's hiatus in his 20's where he met his wife in New Zealand and started a family, returned to Central Oregon in 2015. His two sons keep him on his toes and help him remember what life is all about.
​
Starting with painting houses in Redmond in high school, Caleb has found his way into about every task in residential construction. He has a can-do attitude, a self-deprecating sense of humor, and an acute knack for solving problems.
​
Having primarily served as a subcontractor to custom home builders in Central Oregon since his return, Caleb created Central Oregon Carpentry Pros in 2024 to connect more directly with homeowners after seeing a strong local need for quality craftspeople that "normal" homeowners feel comfortable working with.
